I had been doing a lot of concepts and I had been looking through a lot of portfolios to inspire me, but I had never been happy enough with the results! It was important to me to use WordPress as the Content-Management-System. Though the old webpage was completely done by me, since I know a lot of web languages like PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript(jQuery,…) very well,  I didn’t have the time to do a proper content-management-system by myself.

But I don’t want you to get the wrong idea: WordPress isn’t an alternative, because I am lazy – Wordpress is even the better alternative!

So here it is. My new portfolio website!

I do blog!

Yes, it is true. My new webpage also offers this cute little blog. I’ll let you have a look behind the scenes of my photography work – I’ll let you take part in what way I am progressing! And I hope I do progress. No, that’s not it – this is no egocentric blog about me, myself and I. I want to use also this “valve” to let you also know some interesting technical stuff about post-processing programs and cameras – unfortunately or fortunately I am going to post these things in German.

Why English in the first place anyway?

I received quite some international traffic on my website and some of my most important photo jobs were done internationally. Since we Germans learn English from minute 1 at School in Germany, we don’t have much trouble in reading an English text.

So it was clear to me: English it is!
